The MG Commercial Associate plays a critical role in the success of the MG Commercial business unit, which is part of The Menkiti Group enterprise that includes development, homebuilding, and residential real estate sales.

MG Commercial Associate > Duties & Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and leverage existing MG relationships for new business opportunities
  • Uphold a diligent structure of continual pipeline growth
  • Facilitate the execution of listing agreements, confidentiality agreements, supplemental paperwork for listings
  • Consistently generate new potential client meetings and acquisition opportunities
  • Support development team with market data and leasing opportunities
  • Help drive growth of Commercial Business Unit in terms of revenue and active client roster  
  • Increase revenue and opportunities across family of companies
  • Represent company at industry events, conferences, and community meetings
  • Prepare presentation materials and comps for listing appointments
  • Provide highest-level customer service to clients and potential clients
  • Provide consistent, professional, and prompt feedback to all client and potential inquiries, emails, calls, etc.
  • Maintain honest, straight-forward, and consultative approach in all dealings both inside and outside MG
  • Establish reputation as best-in-class provider of urban commercial real estate solutions

MG Commercial Associate > Qualifications
  • BS or MS degree required
  • 2-5 years sales experience within the real estate business preferred. Experience working for large CRE or development company a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of marketing tactics for successful commercial activity
  • Self-motivated, relentless and resourceful
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to client needs
  • Lead generation skills critical to success – cold calling, relationship acumen, setting appointments, presentations, etc.
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills a must
  • Client focused & relationship savvy
  • Knowledge/experience with real estate finance and/or development a plus
  • Strong leadership skills as this role should evolve quickly
  • Microsoft Office and Database proficient
  • Positive attitude always
